| Hey everyone. I was on a 240 forum about a week ago for some odd reason, and it turns out that some of their model years are able to use ARP wheel studs. The only thing is the thread pitch goes from 1.25 to 1.5. This is a great thing b/c these studs are able to handle more stress than any other studs. It's an often overlooked part of the car that if you think about it, really does take a serious beating. Anyways, after converting metric to standard, I found that there are actually ARP wheel studs that will actually fit our Zs as well for pretty cheap! From JEGS they are as follows. Rear - $24 pair # 100-7708...2.5" long... Knurl=0.003" smaller than stock Front - $74 pair # 100-7715...2.6" Long... Knurl=0.005" smaller than stock OR Front - $80 pair # 100-7717...3" Long... Knurl =0.002" larger than stock Apparently according to the 240 guys they fit great even being a couple 0.001"s off as far as the knurl goes. Anyways, I went ahead and picked up a set for front and rear for myself and will see how they do. I will be sure to keep everyone updated. Don't know if everyone already knew about this or not, but I just figured I would share. Hopefully this helps out someone here.
